International Women’s day celebrated on March 8 every year, is symbolic of the historic journey women around the world have taken to better their lives. GCRI, an institute consisting of more than 70% female employees also celebrated International Women's Day as a mark of extending deepest gratitude to all the remarkable women. The theme for 2024 was ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress’.
The celebration sufficed theme with a talk by Ms. Shalini Rai, Bank Manager Central Bank of India, Chamanpura Branch, Asarwa, Ahmedabad, on the topic, “Prevention against Cyber Crime, Bankers perspective’. She nicely explained about negligence that led to lead to cyber fraud and ultimately loss of money. Also, she explained various ways and means of investment and money management that rejuvenated the investment thought and learnt to invest money in true way.
Also, a cancer screening program for breast cancer and cervical cancer was organized for a week.
